I took advantage of the sun today and got some pics of Hannah in the last month of her 2-ness. It was bright...just the way we like it :)

Flashback: 2008

Around breakfast yesterday i was doing the usual checking my email and Hannah was playing her legos next to me when all of a sudden she looked up and said " Look momma! a Giwaff!" (Im trying to type how she said it) It pretty much set the mood for the rest of my day! My kid rocks. I saw random pieces of legos and she saw something else and put it together. God made kids awesome.

Hannah had so much fun cooking here that we wanted to bring you something a little more colourful. To stll keep it 2 year old friendly, we skipped steps 1-5 in the baking process and headed straight into the decorating process. Armed with her adorable gingerbread man apron (thanks Nanna!) for this very occasion, She did a great job!

Fun with lights, Babies and Bokeh!

Ever since I read about this super fun light/lens trick like back in January... I've been super excited about Christmas to come around again! We put our Christmas tree up like 3 days ago (thats another post!) and this morning I finally got to be a nerd and try it! I was over it in like 5 minutes, but I have happy results. Im glad I can tick this off my to do list! you should try it! super funn :)

I think one of Hannah's favorite time of the day (besides meal time) is watching me cook. She gets a kick out of it and I think she's super adorable playing pretend. SO I've been thinking of a project we can do together and wanted to start with something that didn't involve more than 3 ingredients and the oven.

My buddy Kaarin has been keeping an AMAZING food blog that makes me drool every time I look at it and has made me want to try my hand at it.

The idea came to me while we were eating rice krispies. What could be more simple than rice krispies treats! 3 ingredients and NO oven! I hope these make you smile. My kiddos rock!

Fall Fest.

Today was the perfect fall day and we'd been hearing about the annual Renovatus Fall Fest for the last few weeks and it still snuck up on us! BUTTTT.... we were determined to go and hang out with the awesome community that is our church :-D I m glad we did because this is the funnest location ever and totally makes me want to have a farm so I can have friends come round for a bonfire all the time. We got there right before sunset and because of my lack of a tripod these will just have to be silhouettes....but you get the idea ;)
