Deshields Family Session.

2009 ended pretty awesome for me in the way of photography. My last session was the Deshields family, Sarah, Kevin, and lil Jonah. I can't say enough about what a joy it is to be around these guys. Both our families attend Renovatus Church where Sarah and Kevin lead worship and Jonah and Hannah run around together in nursury. They are by far the artsiest family I know. Musicians and exceptional photographers, not to mention ridiculously stylish!

We took a stroll around an abandoned barn near their house and headed to Amalie's Bakery for a bit.

It was super wet and muddy and really cold! but still an awesome day chasing after lil Jonah and just getting to know this nifty family. Here are the pics from the session. Please enjoy!

Hunt Session.

Early December, I visited Aw Shucks farm with our friends April, Jeremy and their lil sweet pea, Flannery. Even though the ground was quite muddy from the rain, It was still a great day with great light and super photogenic models...could my job be any easier?! It was also the off season which meant we had the place to ourselves!

Hannah had so much fun cooking here that we wanted to bring you something a little more colourful. To stll keep it 2 year old friendly, we skipped steps 1-5 in the baking process and headed straight into the decorating process. Armed with her adorable gingerbread man apron (thanks Nanna!) for this very occasion, She did a great job!

Fun with lights, Babies and Bokeh!

Ever since I read about this super fun light/lens trick like back in January... I've been super excited about Christmas to come around again! We put our Christmas tree up like 3 days ago (thats another post!) and this morning I finally got to be a nerd and try it! I was over it in like 5 minutes, but I have happy results. Im glad I can tick this off my to do list! you should try it! super funn :)
