Christmas cards!

Im a sucker for ANYTHING free. So when I found an online photo site giving away 50 christmas photo cards expiring TODAY, I got on the ball and took some pics of my kiddos....because I don't have enough of those! I hope they make u smile! I didn't get as much cooperation as I'd liked. and I would've like to have a couple reindeer antlers or santa hats as props, but like I said the offer expired today...I like em!

Cooking with Hannah :-)

I think one of Hannah's favorite time of the day (besides meal time) is watching me cook. She gets a kick out of it and I think she's super adorable playing pretend. SO I've been thinking of a project we can do together and wanted to start with something that didn't involve more than 3 ingredients and the oven.

My buddy Kaarin has been keeping an AMAZING food blog that makes me drool every time I look at it and has made me want to try my hand at it.
The idea came to me while we were eating rice krispies. What could be more simple than rice krispies treats! 3 ingredients and NO oven! I hope these make you smile. My kiddos rock!

Our Ingredients :-D

Judah double checking the recipe.

Hannah pouring "water" into the pot.

Pouring the krispies into the marsh mellows. A few didn't make it :-)

Stiring and getting into a sticky situation.

Judah supervising.

Push.push.push!

Judah's contribution.

The reveal!

SOOOO EXCITED!!

Judah is ready to have some already!

Hmmm (i didn't let him have the whole thing!)

Rice krispies stubble!

Showing off her handy work.

Enjoying her creation.

The ones that didn't make it because Judah threw the open box on the ground. along with all the peas he had for dinner last night :-s

Fall Fest.

Today was the perfect fall day and we'd been hearing about the annual Renovatus Fall Fest for the last few weeks and it still snuck up on us! BUTTTT.... we were determined to go and hang out with the awesome community that is our church :-D I m glad we did because this is the funnest location ever and totally makes me want to have a farm so I can have friends come round for a bonfire all the time. We got there right before sunset and because of my lack of a tripod these will just have to be silhouettes....but you get the idea ;)

Such an incredible place!

Such a cute tractor :-) and a super cutie Flannery. Look at dem cheeks!

Not so lil Asher.

Cutie hugs :-)

$1 scarfs!

So I hit up Old Navy this morning for their $1 scarfs because I couldn't help my self!! The limit was 5 per person but the check out lady I went through didn't mind that I grabbed a few more :-D Hannah was more than happy to show them off for a couple of pics :) I LOVE the colours!

Its a leap!

The whether was so perfect yesterday we took advantage of it and just hung out in the backyard. Judah can officially stand but he hasn't worked out what to do next. I took some pics of his fancy kicks he got from Noah when they were here. Enjoy :)

Fancy schmancy!!

Judah's fancy ride he got for his 1st birthday.

He's a fan of eating sticks. We gotta kick that habit.

These make him look like a lil man. I LOVE IT!

Giddy up!!!

Pumpkins and Popcorn

One of the great finds that Tassia and I stumbled on when she was here was a neat lil place 5 minutes from my house calledAw Shucks Farm. It was noon when we visited and full of field trip kids. Originally we planned to check it out and come back later to shoot our kiddos when it wasn't as hot and BRIGHT. I took my camera anyways cause I do that sometimes. As soon as we arrived, there was SO much to do and see I just went crazy and started taking photos. BUT as always Hannah and Noah weren't having any of it, so we decided to persuade them with some popcorn and thats why theres a bunch of pics with them eating popcorn ......but they're smiling too!

Schreiners are CERTIFIED AMAZIN!

I was so sad to say good bye to the Schreiners, but we did get to spend our weekend at my in law's mountains house, which was BEYOND a blessing!! I'd never really seen the leaves change colour in the fall here so I was in for a surprise. The colours were so vivid and bright my eyes hurt so much but it was a joy to witness! We managed to sneak a family shoot in between the rain and a mini field trip to explore the local heritage. I hope you enjoy these!

This is the same location I used for Vanessa's photo shoot.

YES. This is where we stayed!

This is fun to look at because the last time I saw him Noah wasn't walking. He has the FUNNEST waddle EVER!

This was sooooooo 2 weeks ago!

So today is unofficially blog catch up day. This one is the 1st of hopefully 5 for today ;) In no order at all these are from when John and Tassia were visiting us from Pennsylvania for all of 10 short days. One of the days Tassia successfully dragged me out with the kiddies (they went enthusiastically) to put a lil colour in our day. I forgot how much i LOOOOVE sidewalk chalk-ing....enjoy!

Hannah and Noah bust-a-move!

Noah has such a colourful personality!

Why do you torture me?!?!

My fave pic of me and Hannah! Kids LOVE Tassia!

Renovatus. Same same.....But different :-)

Our family has been attending Renovatus Church since moving back to the States in February. We can't say enough how much we LOVE being apart of such a Christ centred community and ALL the super awesome people that we get to worship with every week. Hannah is a huge fan as she has a few buddies that she gets to hang out with at nursery.

Last week we gathered at Eastland Mall for our first (of 2) worship services at the new location. I got to take a few pics of our last service at our old location and also our new service. Its a great chapter to be apart of and the move caused quite a buzz around Charlotte..... which is always a good thing ;-).

* Its 2 in the morning (well 1 now that I just set the clock back an hour. Im about to fall over so I'll have to do captions later) *

Last service at Elizabeth Elementary.
