Wes & Roshelle: Wedding

A couple weekends ago I was more than blessed with the chance to photograph an amazing wedding between my friends Wes and Roshelle. I've known Wes since my YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Adventures back in 2004.
Their love story was 8 years in the making!! Which made this wedding all the more beautiful!
Everything about their wedding meant something to them the best parts being in the details. The ceremony and reception took place at Lock Ridge Park and Furnace museum in Alburtis Pennsylvania, which really reminded me of Scotland cause I never knew such a place existed in PA.
The bridal party joined Wes with their instruments once they made their way down the isle playing a song Wes had written for his bride. It was pretty much the coolest thing I'd seen at a wedding. Below are my favorite photos that sum up the laughter, joy, celebration and of course, love. I hope you enjoy.

The ceremony closed with a worship service.

The beautiful bride Roshelle.

The bridesmaids.

These girls were barefoot..how awesome is that?

We found a sunflower field on the way to their wedding site!

The Groomsmen. They rock!

Abbi and Nate: Engagement session Charlotte

Yesterday I got to spend some time with Abbi and Nate, 2 pretty awesome individuals and a SUPER fun couple who are getting married in Charleston in like less than 6 weeks!

It was very obvious early on in the shoot that they are so in love and that made my job easy!
We took a stroll around Freedom park in Charlotte, NC and tried to make it to Noda before it got too dark. We managed a few shots in Noda before the light left us, But i am MORE than overjoyed at the photos we got. I hope you enjoy !!

Wes and Roshelle Wedding just a glimpse!

We've just returned home after driving 24 hours in 3 days to attend a wedding that I was beyond honored to photograph!! It was the wedding of my good friends Wes and Roshelle, which took place in Pennsylvania. I hope these few pics will give you a glimpse of what a fun wedding this was....more to come!

Andrew Shychuk.

Andrew, Just like Matthew(previous post) is another friend of Malachi that he's known since the beginning of time(or atleast since he was 13) . He was the best man at our wedding. This past weekend he got a spare moment to come visit us before his hectic school schedule starts up and it might be next summer before we see him again! (AND we hope not!!) We were luck to squeeze in another photo shoot. As you can see, good looking model= nice looking pics!

Andrew: Thanks for hanging out with us! and for letting me shoot you.

Helllllllllllllllo E-harmony. My name is Matthew.

This past Saturday our friend Mathew paid us a little visit on the way to a wedding. He looked so fancy in his suit I couldn't help but snap off a few shots before he left. I think he's been friends with malchi since the beginning of time. He was such a great sport about it and now his handsomeness is immortalized on my blog.

Thanks Matthew!

Hannah and her butterfly.

We received a pretty awesome gift this past Thursday from Hannah's VERY special nanna. It was a chrysalis. WHAT IS THAT?! you ask?...if you're like me thats what I asked. To the best of my knowledge it was a butterfly cocoon (with the butterfly still chilling in there). I was super excited when I saw it because I'd never seen a caterpillar become a butterfly. I just knew thats what happened to them when no one was watching. Ours came in a very special bowl!
So this afternoon (2 days after we recieved it) while we were cleaning the house Malachi came upon the completely formed butterfly. It was a super exciting discovery as I was expecting to wait atleast another week. Hannah was equally as excited and we had fun releasing this beautiful creation of God out to enjoy his greatness!

Bye bye ms. Butterfly!!

Thank you nanna! This is the prettiest butterfly I've EVER seen!
